Come July, the folks at Mudtown Station will be pairing up with Rrampt and Trivia Night impresario Ross Docherty to be your hosts for the Railyard Music Festival.
From performers traipsing about on stilts to Alex and the crew from the Tat Shack offering hanna tattoos the event will also be rounded out by musical acts and a BBQ fiesta fit for royalty.
Outside of the entertainment, local food merchants will be on hand to sit guests down at small stations to help get them informed about local food options as well as ways to support local growth.
So what’s on the Menu at the
Railyard Music festival?
Whole Hog BBQ
The centerpiece of the night’s eating is the whole Berkshire hog (courtesy of Dejong Acres) that will be slow-roasted over a bed of apple-wood.
By the time the celebrations begin, this succulent main dish will already have been turning over the fire for several hours.
Chef Tyler looks forward to carving your portion of this meat right on the spot, drizzle it with chili vinegar sauce and serve it on a fresh, soft bun with a side of house coleslaw and a variety of sauces.
Coney Island Chili Cheese Fries
What’s a summer festival without the inclusion of hand-cut, triple-cooked fries?
You get to choose what to smother your fries with – beef and vegetarian chili will be readily available and topped with pimento cheese sauce and garden-fresh scallions.
Grilled Mexican Corn
Fresh corn grilled to a crunchy finish and served with cotua cheese, lime cream and ancho chili powder.
Zucchini Noodle Salad
A great option for vegetarians or any guests looking to leave more room for drinks, Chef Tyler will also be offering garden-fresh Zucchini noodles lightly tossed in white miso with a ginger vinaigrette.
Railyard Musical Line-up:
The festival’s hosts have really outdone themselves with the musical groups they’ve assembled for the festival.
Scheduled to hit the stage are The Responsables (video posted above), L Con, Falcon Jane, Woodworker, Emily Gilbart and Matty Myatt.
