Rachel’s Restaurant: Where you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like family.
Despite having a year-round population of less than 1,000 people, Lion’s Head has a surprising amount to offer and one of its best offerings is Rachel’s Restaurant.
What makes this diner such a special and unique destination is the character its namesake, Rachel Bridge, has poured into it.
The restaurant features a bright, open space complimented by a fantastic retro decor straight out of the 50’s.
It’s in this charming, casual ambiance that diners can enjoy a wide variety of home made food (no pre-packaged ingredients) that also happens to cater to special diets by featuring vegetarian and gluten-free options alongside regular staples.
Opening at 8 am, the restaurant kicks the day off with hearty breakfast platters served up with freshly ground organic coffee.
Guests can also indulge in the many treats and pastries that are baked in-house.
Moving forward in the day, the menu features an assortment sandwiches, wraps, salads, pizzas and home style classics such as meatloaf, chicken pot pie, lasagna and so much more.
Rachel’s Restaurant is also a fully licensed establishment that proudly serves up locally brewed craft beers in addition to wine and ready to prepare your favorite cocktails.
If you love special events, Rachel’s is well known for putting together themed suppers and hosting jam nights for music fans.
If you can’t make it out to the restaurant, you can still enjoy Rachel’s fantastic cooking by way of catering. All it takes is a phone call to get your catering order set up and scheduled.
